About
Sweden's Enforcer are undoubtedly the most significant and influential heavy metal band of the 2000s. Formed in 2005, the band defied the trends of the time, emerging as a larger-than-life force in a world dominated by chugcore and watered-down metal. Their early albums, released between 2008 and 2010, sparked a worldwide movement known as the "new wave of traditional metal," quickly gaining success in the underground scene. By 2012, Enforcer signed a worldwide deal with metal giants Nuclear Blast, releasing three more albums and solidifying their place as one of the most renowned heavy metal bands of their generation. Their furious, uncompromising sound has led them to tour the world countless times, inspiring generations of metal fans.
In 2023, Enforcer returned with "Nostalgia", an album reflecting on the passage of time and the inevitable decay of all things. It marks a return to their speed metal roots after the more experimental "Zenith". Featuring hit-and-run smash hits, the album blends extreme guitar riffs with catchy stadium choruses, staying true to Enforcer's signature style and reinforcing their legacy as one of heavy metal's leading bands.
Enforcer is Olof Wikstrand, Jonas Wikstrand, Garth Condit, and Jonathan Nordwall.
